Currently I am employed as a front end web developer / web designer for a small IT support solutions company. I have had a strong passion for web developing for as long as I can remember. I get a real kick out of coding a project from the ground up and watching it come to life. I understand the synergy between great design and commercial effectiveness which shines through on every project.
I combine expert technical knowledge with a real eye for design. Working with clients from a wide range of industries, I fully understand client objectives when working on a project, large or small.
I have taken the opportunity to use CSS3 everywhere possible whilst constructing this site. Responsive design, rounded corners, gradient backgrounds, drop shadows etc. have all been constructed using CSS3, not images.
To ensure the site loads quickly, all images have been optimized. I personally designed and created all images on this site using Adobe Photoshop. Image spriting has been used where possible to limit sever calls and enhance performance. The blog page on this site is CMS controlled via joomla. This involved using PHP to modify my existing XHTML/CSS page into; effectively what is a joomla template, based on my web site.
I always ensure my code is neat, easy to read, functional, and cross browser compatible. All sites I build follow the w3c accessibility guidelines.

I am always keeping up to date on the latest technologies and standards adopted within web developing. This includes desktop, tablet and smartphone web design and optimization. I am a strong believer in self developing. This enables me to add further abilities and qualifications to my skill set.
I produce beautiful and effective websites to showcase your business online. This is achieved through combining branding awareness and user experience optimization. Every project I undertake is search engine optimised and W3C standards compliant.
